• Circular No. 219/2016 / TT-BTC dated 10/11/2016 of the Ministry of Finance regulating the regime of collection, payment, management, and use of fees in the fields of exit, entry, transit, and residing in Vietnam.

TT – Issued to foreigners who are spouses, children under 18 years old of foreigners issued with LV1, LV2, LS, DT1, DT2, DT3, NN1, NN2, DH, PV1, LD1, LD2 visas or Foreigners are fathers, mothers, spouses, and children of Vietnamese citizens.

Conditions for granting temporary residence cards to foreigners get married to Vietnamese

• Foreigner’s passport duration must be more than 1 year;
• Visas being used in Vietnam must have the TT symbol;
• Certificate of marriage registration in Vietnam or Marriage notes in Vietnam for the case of marriage registration abroad (in case of a foreign document, it must be inconsolably legalized and notarized.

• A notarized copy of the Marriage Registration Certificate in Vietnam or a consular legalized copy of Marriage Note in Vietnam, for the case of marriage registration abroad;
• Application for guarantee and issuance of temporary residence card for foreigners (Form NA7);

• Passport and original visa (passport valid for at least 13 months and visa to enter Vietnam for the right purpose);
• A notarized copy of the Vietnamese household registration book of Vietnamese spouse;
• Certified copy of ID card or passport of Vietnamese spouse;
• 02 individual photos sized 2cm x 3cm.
• Certificate of marriage registration (if issued in a foreign country, legalized by notarized translation);
• An application for confirmation of temporary residency or declaration of temporary residency at the police station of residence.

Within 05 working days, investors come to receive the results of giving receipts, identity cards, or passports to the officials who return the examination and comparison results. Pay the fee then sign to receive and give the temporary residence card to the person who comes to receive the results (even without being processed).

Time to return results: From Monday to Friday (excluding New Year’s Day, public holiday, and Saturday, Sunday).
