    What is Tax Accounting?

    A tax accountant in an enterprise is an accountant in charge of tax declaration issues of an enterprise. This position of accounting personnel is the obligation of enterprises to the state. With a multi-component economy, the state can only manage it when there is a tax accountant and vice versa, businesses also have stable business and favorable tax reporting if they implement clear tax issues.

    Tax accounting in a business is not a simple job for an accountant who has just started his job and especially for accounting students who have just graduated.     The job of a tax accountant

    Determination of VAT calculation bases: Compare input VAT invoices and output VAT invoices, ensuring reasonableness, validity and legality. Check and classify VAT invoices according to each type of tax rate. Monthly or quarterly, tax accountants need to make a report on the general declaration of input and output VAT in order to obtain data as a basis for determining the obligation to pay VAT of enterprises to the State.

    Determination of the basis for calculation of excise tax and environmental protection: For the activities of enterprises related to the import of goods subject to excise tax and environmental protection tax, tax accountants need to check the tax rates of goods, classify and make tax declaration reports for these two taxes as a basis for determining obligations paying taxes.

    Determination of the basis for calculating personal income tax: Based on the actual salary of employees working at the enterprise and the State’s regulations on the law on personal income tax, family circumstance deduction, etc. The tax accountant calculates personal income, declares personal income tax and reports to the tax authority in accordance with the accounting period

    Determine the basis for calculating corporate income tax: Tax accounting needs to be combined with general accounting to understand data, compare data and make monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements to serve internal financial control at the enterprise. At the same time, it serves as a basis for determining corporate income tax obligations for State agencies.

    • Monthly preparation of a general report on input VAT of the whole company according to the deductible output allocation ratio
    • Monitor reports on the company’s tax refund, budget remittance, and budget backlog
    • Compare tax report data of establishments between the report and the finalization
    • Preparation of tax refund dossiers when problems arise
    • Preparation of periodic or irregular tax summary reports
    • Check incoming invoices
    • Check the report on the use of tax invoices to report to the tax department
    • Promptly update information on the tax law, prepare notices of the prescribed business tools of the tax law related to the company’s production and business activities to have a basis for implementation.
    • Making a corporate income VAT plan and submitting it to the budget
