Dong Van Thuc (Mr. Alex Thuc) has co-founded Viet An Law Firm in 2007.  Mr. Alex Thuc has over 10 years of working and operating in Viet An Law Firm. Today, Viet An Law has become one of the leading law firms in Vietnam and annually has served thousands of clients around the world. His aspiration looks forward to leading Viet An Law Firm becoming one of the professional, experienced & devoted international law firms in the business & commercial consultancy all over the world.

Qualifications

• Law University: Ms. Thuc ( Alex in English) has graduated from Hanoi Law University, faculty of International Trade Department. To have been trained about international law, the law of international trade & business relations, international investment. Thereby, he has thoroughly studied of WTO law, rules on the regional Economic integration, agreements on Bilateral trade co-operation between Vietnam & some partners, the rules of governing International sales of goods, rules governing some other international business transactions, international commercial dispute settlement. About international investment law: Fundamental principles of international investment law such as Most Favored Nation (MFN), National Treatment (NT), Fair and Equitable Treatment (FET) and full protection and security, protection of foreign investors against and unlawful expropriation (takings), Guaranteeing Investor-State Dispute settlement (ISID), Other principles of international investment law, Vietnam and international investment law, Vietnamese law regulating international investment relations and Vietnam’s ISDS.
• Education in Republic of Korea:  Has been certificated the program of the materials & components Industry experts by the South Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
• National University: Successfully certificated the International English Program from Vietnam National University.
• Intellectual Property: Participated in the intellectual property course at the Vietnam National Office of Intellectual Property.
• Judicial Academy: Attended a lawyer training course at Vietnam Judicial Academy in Hanoi
