Regulations on company seals
Format: The company seal must follow the format specified by the Ministry of Commerce (MOC). Usually, the seal is circular, containing the company name in Khmer and English, along with the logo (if applicable).
Registration: After registering the establishment of the company, the business must make a seal at a licensed seal manufacturer and then register this seal with the Ministry of Trade.
Procedures for making and registering seals
Choosing a seal manufacturer: Businesses need to choose a reputable and licensed seal manufacturer.
Seal design: Seals need to be designed in accordance with the format prescribed by the Ministry of Trade.
Making the seal: The manufacturer will proceed to make the seal according to the approved design.
Seal registration: Enterprises submit dossiers for seal registration at the Ministry of Trade. The dossier usually includes:
Seal application form (according to the form).
A copy of the business registration certificate.
Seal pattern.
Other relevant papers (if any).
Receive a seal registration certificate: After the dossier is approved, the Ministry of Trade will issue a seal registration certificate to the enterprise.
Tax registration after setting up a company in Cambodia
Tax registration is an important step that is indispensable for any business operating in Cambodia. The tax administration agency in Cambodia will be the General Department of Taxation (GDT).

Tax registration process
To register for tax in Cambodia, businesses need to take the following steps:
Visit the registration website: Businesses need to visit the registration service website of the General Department of Taxation to obtain the application form and find out detailed information about the process through the following link: https://www.tax.gov.kh/en/
Complete the application: Businesses need to fill in the application form completely and accurately.
Preparation of dossiers: Tax registration dossiers usually include the following documents:
Tax registration form (according to the form).
A copy of the business registration certificate.
Proof of property tax payment or property information of the enterprise.
Bank account information (must be provided in digital form within 15 business days of tax registration).
Other relevant papers (if any).
Submission of dossiers: Enterprises submit tax registration dossiers at the General Department of Taxation or through the online form.
Receive a tax registration certificate: After the dossier is approved, the General Department of Taxation will issue a tax registration certificate to the enterprise.
Opening a corporate bank account is a mandatory step after setting up a company in Cambodia. The company needs to open a bank account and deposit charter capital into this account. Within 15 days from the date of receipt of the Enterprise Registration Certificate, the company must submit a bank statement proving that it has paid capital to the online registration system. Notify the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training
Before officially coming into operation, all companies must send a written notice to the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training.
For companies with eight or more employees, the development of labor rules is mandatory. This internal regulation needs to comply with the general provisions of the labor law, including the contents of recruitment, salary, benefits, working hours, occupational safety and health measures and leave regime. This Labor Regulation must be submitted to the Ministry within three months from the date the company is incorporated.
Apply for the National Social Insurance Fund (NSSF)
Registration for the National Social Insurance Fund (NSSF) is mandatory for all employers with at least one employee in Cambodia. NSSF is a provider of social insurance, including occupational accident insurance, health insurance and pension insurance, to protect the interests of employees. “Business Registration” Form: This form provides information about the business, including the company name, address, type of business, legal representative information, etc.
“Employee Registration” Form: This form provides information about each employee, including their full name, date of birth, gender, nationality, job location, salary, and more.

Employee list: This list needs to list all the information of all employees working at the company.

Monthly NSSF Contribution
